C-Tech STUDENT LOANS
Students may apply for financial assistance through C-Tech loan program. This is available to students who do not qualify for the scholarship program but can show financial need. The student must demonstrate, upon application, financial need to receive a loan from C-Tech. The student must submit a written essay also, stating their goal is once they have completed the CTECH program.
A FEH Board of Directors of C-Tech will determine the loan amount that will be granted to each student applying.
The loan of studies will cover up to 70% of the cost of studies. The loan will be interest free. Each student will work with C-Tech leadership to determine the payment program during work study programs and/or upon graduation. Payment plan will be determined of a percentage of salary that will be acquired after graduation.

Jobs on campus/Work Study Programs
A series of employment opportunities are available for work study program. Student obtaining a loan can use a percentage of their salary to assist in their repayment option. Students in the scholarship program are able to use salary to assist in paying tuition fees or life expenses not covered in the scholarship awarded. The Administration is currently working on a list of jobs to provide students.

- The student completes an application form with evidence of financial need.
- The student certifies they will complete degree or vocational program.
- The student agrees to pay the required fees to C-Tech
- The student makes themselves available to obtain a temporary job, according to availability on the campus. A portion of that salary will be designated to assist with loan repayment.
- The student agrees to repay the balance of the loan after graduation through a payment plan determined by C-Tech Administration.

- 90% attendance rating
- Commitment to area of study
- Acceptable GPA in coursework
The process for applying for a loan
- The student will fill out loan application
- The student will meet with C-Tech Administration to allow for application review and debriefing of loan responsibilities.
- The current student past performance will be assessed by C-Tech Administration including but not limited to:
- Participation within course classes and C-Tech activities
- Attendance
- Grade point average

Final Steps in Loan Process
- The student receives an appointment after a first evaluation of eligibility criteria by the C-Tech Administration.
- The prepared Dossier is routed to the Office of the FEH for evaluation.
- The contract is signed by student for loan amount after approval by FEH.
Loss of the loans of studies
- Remaining tuition not paid: the student who will not pay the full 30% of required fees at the end of the year of study will not benefit from additional loans for program. If this student meets the other criteria, the amount due can be paid through the work study program.
- Low grade point average: The student who will not have obtained the required average will not be eligible for a loan.
- Non-compliance of C-Tech student conduct policy: the student with a behavior that does not meet the required standards will not benefit the loan.
