                  VOLUNTEER

Volunteers

April 16, 2010

Thanks for your interest in volunteering in Haiti with Foundation for the Children of Haiti!

While we are not currently looking for volunteers, we would be happy to receive your Volunteer Application which we will hold for use.

Volunteer Application

(Adobe Reader is required to open .pdf files.  Use the Adobe Reader button provided here.)

Your willingness to help in Haiti in response to the  earthquake is heartwarming and appreciated.  However, at this time we are suspending our call for volunteers and visitors.  The primary focus at this time is gathering funds to buy medical supplies and get them to Hope Hospital and the children.

When we are once again able to host work groups and long-term volunteers, we will post that information here.

Thank you for understanding the present circumstances, and please focus your energy now on spreading the word of the good work of The Foundation for the Children of Haiti.  Encourage your friends, families, and congregations to visit us at www.usfch.org.

When we can once again receive volunteers, we will be looking for folks with the following skills.

Are you an electrician, plumber, carpenter, office administrator, occupational   therapist, physical therapist, nurse, doctor, pharmacist, artist or have other training?  Are you available for a short-term (one week) or longer commitment?  Do you speak French or Creole; it would be helpful but not necessary.

You must be self-sufficient and self-supported.  We are able to help you arrange for housing for which you will be charged a minimal fee.
