VISIT
Bring Christmas Joy to the Children of Haiti
join us
Sat., November 26 to Sat., December 3, 2011
USFCH is hosting a trip to Haiti
to bring Christmas gifts to the orphanage children. Each year Gladys
Thomas, Director of the Foundation for the Children of Haiti, hosts a Christmas
party for all the children affiliated with our organization. The team will
bring toys and help prepare for the party. There will also be
opportunities to view all the facilities of the Foundation, spend extensive time
at the Village with the youngest children, tour downtown Port-au-Prince, and
travel into the countryside to view the unique beauty of Haiti. For more
information please see the trip flyer.

General information about
visiting
Foundation for the Children of Haiti
Would you like to visit
Port-au-Prince, Haiti to learn more about the work of Fondation Pour les
Enfants d'Haiti, to see first hand Haiti Home for Children, Rainbow of Love
Nursery, Hope Institute for Handicapped Children, Hope Hospital, and Children's
Village of Hope? Would you like to hold sweet babies and look into the
eyes of children who have great hope for the future? Would you like to
experience the culture of Haiti, explore parts of the city, visit the national
art gallery, and attend church?

Annually, USFCH will organize a trip to Haiti for those
interested. You will arrange your transportation to Haiti. We will
meet at an airport in Florida and together to Port-au-Prince. We will stay in a guest house provided by USFCH, and transportation in Haiti will be
included. Meals will also be included. Departure will be on a
Thursday and return will be on the following Monday. A member of the USFCH
Board of Directors will accompany each trip, and we will be met by Gladys Thomas in Haiti. Expenses will be determined at the time a
trip is announced.
Please understand that life in Haiti is different from that
in other places. Visitors must come with an open mind and a spirit of
toleration. You must be in good physical and mental health.
Substance abuse will not be tolerated by visitors.
Please e-mail us to indicate your interest. We will add
your name to a list of people who will be contacted when a trip is being
planned.
