You may designate a particular project to which you would like your donation to be given by noting the program on your check. Be assured that all contributions not indicating a specific project will be used for the well being of the children in our care. Administrative expenses for USFCH are less than 5% each year and are funds spent largely to communicate with our supporters and for auditing purposes. All members of the Board serve as volunteers as do many who donate their time and expertise to benefit the organization's efforts. Change in charitable contribution tax law: On January 20, 2010, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill to allow donors to accelerate the income tax benefits for charitable cash contributions made for the relief of victims of the earthquake in Haiti. A companion bill has been approved by the Senate. The bill allows individuals who make charitable contributions to aid Haitian earthquake victims to elect to claim the deduction on their 2009 tax return. The donations must be made between January 11, 2010 and March 1, 2010. Because USFCH does not represent itself to be expert in the field of taxation, we urge you to consult with your tax professional. ***Please mark "Earthquake
